DK GIScience

The Doctoral College “GIScience” provides a unique environment for high quality research related to GIScience and Geoinformatics.

A two-day symposium on September 20/21, 2013 offered insights to research projects, achievements and intermediate results. The objectives were two-fold: 

• The three thematic research clusters presented achievements regarding methods and methodologies which are crosscutting individual projects.

• PhD students presented their work within an interactive poster-session including a best-poster award.

 The symposium was open complimentary to all interested persons. This event provided a creative and stimulating atmosphere to exchange ideas and experiences between early stage researchers and experienced researchers.
