PhD-thesis: Isochrone Queries for SQL

Bezaye obtained her Bachelor degree in computer science from Hawassa University in 2009 where she worked as a graduate assistant for almost two years. Starting in 2011, she pursued her MSC in Geoinformatics and remote sensing at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. After graduation, she worked in NOVA-IMS, Portugal, in a research laboratory: LabNT. Bezaye mainly worked on a project called "SIGGESC" and developed a Web GIS portal for managing bus transportation in Portugal.

Since October 2015, Bezaye is working on her PhD in the Doctoral College of GIScience, at the University of Salzburg under the supervision of Prof. Nikolaus Augsten. Her main research focus is on isochrone queries for SQL with the aim to develop efficient algorithms to compute isochrones in spatial networks.
